The Albany State Youth Enrichment Program (ASYEP) Summer Camp is a free, seven( 7) week summer camp, sponsored by Albany State University & the ASU Department of Athletics. The program’s mission “Is to provide youth with a safe and nurturing environment where they can be active, learn new skills, build self-confidence, and have fun over the summer”. It is offered to both boys and girls (7-14) who are seven on or before May 1, 2025.

Calhoun County High School senior Cailyn George has been named the school’s 2025 PAGE STAR Student. Cailyn selected Ms. Santee Archer as her STAR Teacher.

National Child Abuse Prevention Month aims to raise awareness, drive action, and ensure every child has the chance to grow up safe, supported, and loved.

Calhoun County Schools has addressed a recent bed bug incident and outlines steps taken to insure the health and safety of our students and families.

Notice is hereby given that Calhoun County School System (CCSS) will receive bids on a General Contract for the Calhoun County School-Based Health Center.
The project includes the renovation of an unused former school media center. The project is an interior renovation of an existing building for the purpose of a Calhoun County School-Based Health Center. The existing space to be renovated has an area of 2,948 square feet. The renovated building will contain exam rooms, vision and dental rooms, a lab room, a lobby, toilets, and administrative offices.
